Join Javajuice FTC Team 31788

We are recruiting 4 current 6th–8th graders to join our Hardware & Software tracks. Learn robotics, coding, and problem-solving with our team!

Application Deadline: March 31, 2026

Why Join Our Team?

Coding & Robotics

Dive into real-world software! Learn to code in Java to make the robot move and react to its surroundings. It's like bringing your favorite video game to life.

Building Cool Bots

Work with 3D parts, metal frames, and wires! You'll get hands-on experience designing and building machines that can lift, drive, and score points.

Teamwork & Fun

Make fast friends and travel to exciting competitions! We solve big puzzles as a team and have a blast showing off our bot on the competition field.

What You’ll Do

Being a part of Javajuice is an awesome adventure! You'll work in a creative workspace where we turn cool sketches into real-life moving robots. You’ll learn how to think like an engineer and a scientist while having a blast with your new teammates.

  • Robot Creation: Build and test a real competition robot using metal parts and sensors.
  • Smart Coding: Learn to write code that helps our robot navigate and solve complex puzzles.
  • Team Leadership: Present your work and drive the robot at local library info sessions for families.

How Recruitment Works

Our recruitment journey kicks off with interactive info sessions at local libraries in Los Gatos, Saratoga, and Cupertino (with potential dates in Campbell, Vineland, and Cambrian if needed). These 30–45 minute interactive sessions are the heart of our process—students will have the chance to present their interest and even drive our competition robot! It is a dedicated time for both parents and students to ask questions, meet the team, and see if Javajuice is the right fit.

Only 4 spots available
